The Center for Asylum Protection is a refugee legal aid provider in Bangkok, Thailand.
CAP assists asylum-seekers and refugees with their refugee applications to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Thailand and certain other legal problems they may encounter.
Who are we?
The Center for Asylum Protection is an independent legal aid office for refugees in Thailand.
We provide legal services to refugees who are seeking protection with UNHCR or under the National Screening Mechanism.
What do we do?
Our primary services are:
- Advice to newly arrived refugees about refugee protection in Thailand
- Assistance and representation for applicants whose cases were rejected
- Advice and referrals to relevant services for refugees concerning other legal issues.
